New Year 2015

It is 2015. Day 4 already. May all the remaining 360 days go well for you and me.

The New Year lies before you, like a spotless tract of snow
Be careful how you tread on it, for every mark will show.

In spite of the mess made by humans, it is still a wonderful world.
Take four minutes to listen to this:

Christmas 2012

I missed posting during the Christmas Season that's just gone by. Travelling - and its aftermath - kept me away from my blog. Although we're well past the traditional Epiphany Day, I'm sharing this short clip about a simple piano lesson and a beautiful message. As I post this, I'm thinking of my granddaughter Zoya who will soon learn to play the first notes on her new violin.

When the year 2013 is over, may you have added a lot to your store of happy memories...

Christmas is round the corner...
The best way to catch the spirit is
Through bright and innocent eyes
Specially when
They belong to one's own grandkids !

Christmas 2007

It's a long time since I posted to this blog. Christmas is long past. We are more than halfway through 2008. A lot has happened in my life this year and I intend writing about it...

Time goes by.  Memories fade like withering flowers. I wish I could preserve a few petals and leaves, pressed and dried between the pages of my blog. The fragrance might have gone. Nevertheless, they will awaken faded memories.

...

Aamir, Sonali and Zoya were the last to come down from the US in 2007.  With my mother perking up a little, Christmas was lively, complete with a tree and everything that makes for a fine family gathering.

My album (private viewers only) has some memorable pictures.

A lot more to post ... I don't  know when...
