Another Year Begins

I'm back, after a gap of some weeks. This is my first post in 2012.

I brought in the new year in the US, where I am visiting family after a gap of a year and a half.

At this time last year I was in Auckland, admiring my newest grandchild Inaya. When I left a few months later, Inaya was still in swaddling clothes. Now she's a lively one-year-old, who demands attention and tries to grab the webcam when we're video-conferencing :)
