Raising Kids

Raising kids has never been easy. Of all species, humans take the longest time to turn into self-sufficient adults. For this discussion, let us leave out those who never seem to grow up at all!

Although my child-rearing days are over, I still like to read the words of the wise on this important topic. After all, each new generation impacts the future of the human race. It is common enough to hear parents and other oldies deploring the so-called irresponsible and unfathomable ways of the modern youth, as they mutter: Where did we go wrong? 

The quote above is a pointer. And let us not forget the American saying: " Monkey see, monkey do" - succinct, telling and so true!

To end, a line for Father's Day: "Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad."
